No, there is no concept of ‘punitive’ damages in the UK, so compensation will be the actual loss you have incurred.

General damages are awarded for unquantifiable losses, such as physical inconvenience and loss of amenity. Damages in a contract dispute under English law is to put the innocent party in the position he/she/they would have been in had the breach not occurred.
