I accept instructions in all areas of family law including financial remedies and divorces as well as private law applications involving children. My cases are often complex, with serious allegations of domestic abuse, parental alienation, relocation, coercive and controlling behaviour and substance misuse.
The financial disputes I deal with can involve non-disclosure, conduct allegations, overseas property and investments, pensions, business interests, litigation capacity issues and jurisdictional challenges.
I have a particular interest in cases involving mental health needs and cultural conflict.
I am regularly instructed on behalf of parents, children through their Rule 16.4 Guardians, grandparents and wider family members.
I also represent applicants and respondents at every stage of financial remedy proceedings, from First Appointment and FDR to Final Hearing, enforcement and variation applications.
“Komal’s grasp of the background and key issues was exceptional. Her calm approach and ability to explain matters clearly made a difficult and intimidating process far easier to navigate.”
