I’m a barrister and accredited mediator who practises in a wide variety of property and chancery matters.
I practiced as a solicitor for over 12 years before becoming barrister, and have experience of a broad range of transactional property and corporate work. This includes investment sales and purchases, development, refinancing and landlord and tenant work.
I have expertise in a wide variety of property and chancery matters, including neighbour and boundary disputes, landlord and tenant, and probate matters, as well as other commercial disputes and insolvency. I’ve previously represented private individuals to multinational companies.
I’m also a specialist in relation to all property related taxes. I have a detailed knowledge of stamp duty land tax and the operation of various reliefs and I’ve advised in relation to the tax liability of complex transactions. I have also acted as a specialist adviser in relation to VAT, to construction, development, public and charitable organisations.
In addition to my advisory and advocacy work, I am also an accredited mediator.
