What is 3PB Direct?

3PB Direct launched in England and Wales in June 2019 offering this online service allowing members of the public and directors of small and medium sized businesses to work directly with a barrister, to easily obtain a fixed fee quote, accept a quote, make pre-payment, upload papers and communicate with the barrister or our team of staff.

3PB Direct is a new website and offer from barristers at 3 Paper Buildings (3PB Barristers) who have offered lawyers in a direct access service since is 2004 when barristers were first permitted to act directly. We now have substantial numbers of cases and levels of work from small and medium-sized businesses, trade associations and regulators as well as members of the public, all able to instruct us directly, without having to use a solicitor.

There are over 120 barristers at 3PB Direct – the largest contingent available in a barristers chambers in the UK – who advise in all areas of law, and are licensed to accept your instructions directly. 3PB Direct lawyers specialise in providing expert legal opinions and advice, drafting legal documents, attending court or tribunal or hearing and representing you as your advocate, and representing you at a mediation or arbitration. You will get exceptional high levels of skill when advocacy is required to present your case or you need some legal advice.

Most barristers do not conduct litigation, although 3PB Direct do have lawyers who have a special licence to do so – but we can offer you the support of a complete paralegal support and administration of the case from beginning to end using contacts of ours, like such as PX Partners.
