I’m a civil law barrister, expert in contract disputes, consumer claims, personal injury and inquests, based at 3PB’s Bournemouth centre. I was called to the Bar in 2015.
Prior to becoming a barrister I worked as a paralegal for a number of years which included running my own caseload. I am therefore well suited to running your case directly.
I have more than 10 years’ experience as a lawyer.
I am regularly instructed in a variety of contractual disputes, often being instructed from drafting the court documents through to trial.
Many of my cases often involve claims under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where clients have purchased goods which are not fit for purpose but not received a refund.
I have extensive experience in particular in applications for relief from sanction and applications to set aside default judgment. I am therefore able to consider and advise on the commercial aspects (in other words, is the case worth it?) in pursuing or defending such applications.
As an experienced personal injury lawyer, I have been involved in a large number of inquests on behalf of local authorities, families and businesses.
This has seen me act under direct access for anyone involved in Coroner’s Court cases.
