My family practice cover the full range of issues that can arise on the breakdown of a relationship, with particular emphasis on complex financial remedy cases which may arise when you’re facing a divorce or separation. With an understanding of accounts and a mastery of detail I have represented clients where the source of wealth (sometimes hidden overseas) comes for self-made millionaires, directors, premiership footballers or from farming individuals (a particular specialty).

In addition to financial remedy cases, I can act for you in cases involving children in private family law, including cases concerning with whom a child should live or how much time a child should spend with each parent. These cases can require a court having to decide whether a child can be moved to live abroad or move to another part of the UK.

Finally, my years of family law expertise and also experience as a part time judge or “Recorder” in the Family Court (with the same powers as that of a circuit judge) mean that not only am I able to advise you on the likely result of your dispute but also that I can assist you in family law cases where you believe your acting solicitor has been negligent.
